Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
Clear, caring terms for the day that matters most — so the only thing you plan for is the celebration.
These terms confirm exactly how your booking, payments, and any changes are handled — no surprises, in plain language.
Effective July 5, 20261Booking Deposit
A 50% deposit is due at signing to reserve your ceremony date and secure it on our calendar. The deposit is non-refundable, but remains fully applicable toward a rescheduled date (see Sections 6 and 9).
2Travel Fees
Travel fees are billed in addition to your ceremony package. They are included in your booking total and covered by your deposit.
3Remaining Balance
The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your event date.
4Late Balance
If the balance isn't received by the 14-day deadline, a 3-day grace period applies. After that, the booking is treated as cancelled and the deposit is forfeited.
5Short-Notice Bookings
If your ceremony is booked within 14 days of the event, the full amount is due at signing. The Final Date Lock (Section 9) still applies.
6Date Changes & Rescheduling
Your deposit is transferable to a new, mutually agreed date, subject to officiant availability, if requested before the Final Date Lock. A maximum of two (2) date changes is permitted.
7If We Are Unable to Perform
If our officiant can't perform due to illness or emergency, you may choose a full refund or a penalty-free reschedule, and we'll arrange a qualified replacement officiant wherever possible.
8Weather & Force Majeure
If a named storm, government order, or venue closure prevents your event, we'll reschedule once without penalty and your deposit carries to the new date.
9Final Date Lock — 7 Days Prior
Seven days before your event, your date and all payments become final — non-refundable and non-changeable.
Common Questions
Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is non-refundable, but it's never wasted — it stays fully applicable toward a rescheduled date, up to two changes, as long as the change is made before the 7-day Final Date Lock.
What happens if a storm affects our date?
If a named storm, government order, or venue closure prevents your ceremony, we reschedule once at no penalty and your deposit carries to the new date.
What if something happens to our officiant?
In the rare event our officiant can't perform, you choose a full refund or a penalty-free reschedule, and we work to arrange a qualified replacement so your day still happens.
